Let me elaborate. I graduated with a journalism degree last year and discovered, like many other Americans, that nobody cared but myself. After working multiple jobs while in undergrad, I decided to apply that same work ethic to advancing my career. I aspire to be a full-time writer, however bills, and most importantly Sallie Mae, must be paid, thus during the day I work as a marketing and media consultant for a small dental practice. I whore myself out as a freelancer in my spare time by writing artist bios, reviews, website content, opinion pieces, editorials….you name it I write it.
I thrive on politics, history, and the thrills of a good opinion piece. The art of opinion has been lost in the current political climate. Without a basis in fact, an opinion is obsolete.
Sarcasm is my friend.
On weekends I still function as a bartender. This gives me a valid excuse to exercise my love of Strawberry Margaritas. Judge away.
